With proper care, 14kt gold fill will last just as long as solid 14kt gold. Gold-filled pieces can still tarnish, but it takes special circumstances for that to happen. Pure gold doesn’t tarnish, so the thick layer of 14kt gold on gold-filled pieces prevents tarnishing.

With proper care, your jewelry will look like new for years to come! Here are some helpful tips and tricks to keep your pieces looking beautiful.
Storage: Store your jewelry (especially Sterling Silver) in an air-tight container when not being worn. Oxygen, moisture and other chemicals are what will tarnish or dull metals.
If you’re not going to be wearing a piece for a while, don’t leave it sitting out. A small ziploc bag works great!
Tangles: To help prevent tangles, we recommend closing all clasps before storing.
Chemicals: Although our jewelry is swim, sweat and shower-proof we do recommend avoiding prolonged exposure in chlorine, pools, hot tubs and spas.
Cleaning and polishing: If your jewelry needs polishing or begins to dull or tarnish, don’t worry – it can get back to it’s beautiful, shiny self. We recommend a Sunshine Polishing Cloth, but any jewelry cleaner will work.
We want to make sure you are as happy with your jewelry as possible. That's why we offer returns and exchanges within 30 days of your item's delivery. Our simple returns & exchanges portal makes it easy to go through the process and end up with the outcome you want.

We will gladly accept like-new product for return or exchange for any reason as long as it is shipped back (aka label is scanned) within 30 days of the order being delivered. Please note:
Canada Customers: Unfortunately we cannot offer exchanges on international orders, but we do accept returns.
Sales / Promotions Price Adjustment: We’re unable to offer price adjustments for temporary promotion, sales, or discounts. Your refund will go back to the original method of payment used to make the purchase. We usually process returns quickly, but just in case, please allow up to 14 business days from when we receive the items for your account to be refunded.
Step 1: Pull apart. This is the best tip to getting your Tiny Twists in with ease! Using a gentle touch, carefully pull apart the loops which will make them easier to thread into your piercing.
Step 2: Twist in. Once the Tiny Twist is around your lobe, push one end through your piercing and begin twisting it through, like you’re putting a key on a keychain.
Step 3: Pinch together. Once they’re in, gently squeeze the loops back together to the distance of your liking.
Step 4: Enjoy forever. They’re so easy to wear, you just may never take them out! But if you need to, repeat these steps backwards. Begin by pulling the loops gently apart, and untwisting them from your piercing.

"I have sensitive ears, and was hopeful these would work. However, I think whatever they are filled with is exposed at the ends. The part that loops around and touches the front of my ear to look like a second piercing burned a little circle burn in that spot after wearing them, so they’re unusable to me."
