Position Title: Supply Chain Department Lead

Anticipated Start Date: Beginning to Mid June

Number of Hours: Full time - 40 hours a week

Pay:  $29-$34 an hour, based on experience

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Hello Adorn is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Department Lead. This person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our supply chain, from procurement to order fulfillment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively manage external relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing industry and a proven track record of optimizing processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Procurement Management:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, components, and supplies.
  • Oversee team tasked with identifying and qualifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships to ensure quality and reliability of supply.
Inventory Management:
  • Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring adequate stock availability to meet production demands.
  • Implement inventory control measures and procedures to monitor stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and prevent stockouts.
  • Oversee the entire product life cycle from raw material to ready-to-ship.
Production Planning:
  • Develop production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure on-time delivery while minimizing costs.
Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Support our purchasing department to help innovate our supplier relationships to foster collaboration, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Analyze supply chain processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.
  • Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance supply chain performance and achieve strategic objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, inventory management, production planning, and logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and systems, and inventory management software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors..
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving cost savings.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
